According to Online Gallery, The head of the British Museum visited the Treasures of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran and the Tony Craig volumetric exhibition (German-speaking artists),along with the director of the Museum of Fine Arts ,Ali Mohammad Zare.
During the meeting, Ali Mohammad Zare, head of Tehran's Contemporary Art Museum, expressed his hope that the world would be able to visit the Iranian and foreign treasures of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran. He also mentioned that were are so interested in presenting these artworks, which include the most important artworks of contemporary Iranian and Western modern artists, in the most important museums of the world. Hartwing Fischer, the head of the British Museum, while expressing the wonder of the unique architecture of the museum, and gladly managed to visit Iranian and foreign works of treasures of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran, said: "The treasures of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran are unique and valuable. From the Western art and contemporary Iranian art with a variety of artistic styles, each artist and art of friendship are keen to see this little treasure.
The head of the British Museum, while visiting the artworks of Tony Craig, said: The collection featured in the museum's galleries, based on the recognition I have from Tony Cragg, is one of the most complete collections of his artworks.
At the end of the visit, Hartwing Fisher added: "Given the high capacity of the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Tehran and its international status, we can have cultural and artistic cooperation between the British Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in the near future."
