A book with 100 editions, containing Moslemian’s artworks, has been published in hand-printed format.
The painting exhibition of Nosratollah Moslemian, was opened on Friday, October 14 at Iranshahr Gallery and the book with 100 editions, containing his artworks, was unveiled at the ceremony. This book is a collection of his artworks in 40 years. This book has 260 pages and it costs 12 Million Tomans (£2,660).
Moslemian wrote about his book: "This book is a selection of my recent artworks and it is my second book. My first book contains a collection of my works until 2003 and ‘Nazar’ journal published it for me." He explained the specific features of this book: There is an original artwork at the beginning of each copy. Also, these original artworks are different in each version. Only 30 copies of these 100 copies are published, because the creation of original artworks takes time and should be gradually published. That is why the process of printing these hundred copies take a while. Mosavar Rahmani, the publisher of Nosratollah Rahmani’s book, said: "This is a hand-printed book and after 2 and a half years, only a small part of this book has been prepared. It is better to name it artwork instead of book. The pages are special both in printing and colour combination. At the first page there is an original artwork of this artist and it has a silk cover, which is made from bronze, prepared and signed by Mr. Moslemian. This book is about 260 pages and it has two short handwritings from Mr.Moslemian and Mr. Keshmirshekan.
