Vida Jilanchi - solo exhibition (17 August - 04 September)
In my point of view, in our city’s contemporary life, people usually go to café, either they are pleased or sad, in the purpose of meeting, in someone's companion or even alone, and feel much better and spend tranquiller time. It can be said, that the café has become a place for calmness in the contemporary life. I was trying to portray this scene, using my favourite colours and lines, in the way I observe it.
Introducing art is galleries and government task
The director of the CAMA Gallery believes that art should be more visible at the community level and communicate with the general public is not the responsibility of the artist, it is the role of the gallery and cultural operators who are working on introducing artists' art.
