My paintings are experiencing an abandonment of humanity. They contain no references to it and are evolving on a path void of humans. In the same way, I have experienced that abandonment and have lost all connections with nature. I paint remote from nature with visions of a land forced to endure calamities and survive…
Flora Feizbakhsh is a painter, whose concern mostly has been about woman and her social problems for many years. In a subtle and protesting atmosphere, she portrays woman and her hardships such as loneliness and social isolation from economic, fear, insecurity, inequality, and many other issues, tired of these screams and whispers, after a calm silence, she steps forward into another way. In addition, with an internal motivation, she depicts elements of nature that are rooted in her unconscious mind. She reflects an inner world that, while being traditional, is modern, distinct from what we have known in the past decades in the painting of this land.
The elements, which contain a kind of visual cuddling, for sure is not just because of feminine subtlety, but also from the very first glance, every spectator witnesses an entirely introverted rhythm that shows a sensitive, calm, oriental, and poetic soul that throughout all periods of art history has been unique to the eastern illustrator. Later this has been extended to the West, and especially many European artists have benefited from it.
Considering this fact that each artist, using technical abilities, can easily enter into the artistic market, by denying the common patterns that have been exhausted over time, she creates such artworks.
