According to the cultural correspondent of Shabestan News Agency, the “Nest in Atemporality” exhibition, featuring volume artworks by Setareh Aminelahi, architect and sculptor was held on Friday, May 3rd at the CAMA Gallery.
In this exhibition, which is the second solo exhibition of Setareh Aminelahi, six works created with wood, mirror and coloured glass, will be showcased.
In this exhibition, the word “wound” (Zakhm), with three sculptures in the form of the letter “Z” is a symbol of yesterday, openness and depth of pain, and the letter “Kh” shows the effects of improvement. The letter “M” in sculpture shows the healed wound that its effect will remain eternal. In three sculptures, the artist has paid attention to “Atemporality”, the absence of which sits beyond time, and equals the condition between “A”, “D” and “M” like a mystery.
Half of the works of this exhibition portrays the effect of time passing on the wound, in an abstract way. The other half of the works, inspired by the verses of Rumi’s poetry, searching beyond the time of being in atemporality. This theme is embodied in light blue shades and dimming the volume of wood”.
