Vorya Hashemi

Vorya Hashemi, born in 1980, in Sanandaj, Iran. He has studied a Bachelor of Sociology in the field of research on Social Science. He was a top student while attending the course of Cursive (Shekasteh) script calligraphy under supervision of Master Yadollah Kaboli Khansari, in 2011. He is the founder and director of Nour & Negar cultural institute, founded in 2010. He also founded and managed Ariyan Gallery in 2012. Hashemi held the position of the supervisor of the section of calligraphy in The Iranian Academy of Arts.

  • First place in the cultural and artistic festival of Nahj al-Balagha and Thaqalayn, 2003 and 2004
  • Selected artwork in the festival of the great Masters in Nastalik, Tehran, 2008
